Hi, datrainque. It’s best that you just substitute with fresh fruit in season (a similar portion size). Dried fruit can be a valid substitute, but pay attention to the portion size – 2 tablespoons dried small fruits such as raisins, currants, or cranberries, and 1/4 cup for regular fruits such as apricots and apples.

When the recommended fruit is not in season or not readily available, can dried fruit be a valid substitute??
