Lean uncured cold cuts are labeled as such in stores (including online), so no worries. In general, just make sure that “nitrite” or “nitrate” are not in the ingredients list. Using slices of fresh, unprocessed meat is an even better way.

I just joined and am already a bit confused. Can someone give me examples of lean uncured coldcuts? Also -is there a search bar to scan all the posts?
