Hi, Mary. This program is actually fairly low in carbs, about 45% of energy (compared to 60-70% on a “regular” plan). You can cut your starchy carb portions in half, if that makes it easier.

It seems like alot of carbs. Do you have to eat everything or can I cut some carbs??? Too much bread, rice and pasta for me.
