Hi, FloJo. Definitely. The principles of the program include balancing your metabolism and cutting out additives that particularly interfere with medications.

I have a problem losing weight because of the the medication I take for my mental illness. Will this program work with these circumstances?

Just eat unprocessed, whole foods, and you will be getting one of the major principles of the program.

I have just become a member but as I live in the Canary Islands Spain I can see right away that I am going to have a problem with the shopping there are 3/4 items in each in each receipe which I will not be able to obtain, What do I do ??????

With advise from the great service techs at Trim Down, I was able to save my down loads to my bookshelf app on I-Pad. Everything I need to read is now easily accessible.

It would be helpful if the calorie value of recipes and food items was included. It would help as I try to also work with My Fitness Pal App, etc. Also I am very new but I am disappointed that I cannot use this with my iPad. As a result I am moving back and forth between computer and iPad. Is there a plan for an iPad application? Also is here a place to record what you actually ate from the generated menu? Thanks.

I started 5 days ago after spending a couple of days digesting the information. I have always eaten healthy foods — lots of fruits and veggies. So I was a bit skeptical if this would make a difference. I don’t like sweets either. My first experiment was the butternut broccoli muffins. They are so so and I need to try the recipe again. I like the idea. It wasn’t too hard to find the breads and I find them filling and tasty. A first I thought things were pretty pricey but I now find that they go a long way. Best of all I am losing some weight and I don’t feel hungry or bored with my food. I have plenty of energy for exercising at the gym and walking. So I am sticking with it. I want to check my results after the one week mark… Just a few days away.

Hi, KatyQuin. Those other stores (i.e. Trader Joe’s) are excellent. Any health-oriented store is fine if it has the foods at a price that enables you to continue to purchase them.

Hi, MarMor. A shopping list generator is in the works.

Hi, Anne Horan – please do feel free to add organic skim or non-dairy milk to the cereal; in the future, you can select “cereal with milk” in the Menu Planner.

Hi, Lesley. Those times are a good start. Hopefully you have a few other meals in-between.

I just joined this program earlier this week and am very excited to keep with it. i agree with others that it does take time and extra effort but i definitely think we are all worth that time and effort :o) Looking forward to feeling better and eating healthier. HNY!

Joined yesterday and got my menu planned….this is going to be hard to follow…..half a cup of shredded wheat with no milk for a snack. Im usually very good and focused at following menus but this is a bit all over the place!!!

i joined yesterday and i can already tell that the products they invite you to use are very expensive but i read all the recepies and in the menu planner all you need to do is choose from the most healthy kinds of foods things that you know u can afford for instance i chose 100% whole grain brad and rye bread instead of the pretty light blue choices and so on of course organic meats and poultry are very expensive but ohh well i guess i will juts cheat in that part and get regular but lean cuts of fresh meats and poultry as for the rest they have plenty of options of things you can buy. 🙂

Somewhere I thought I read that a shopping list is generated from your menu. Does anyone know if that is true?
