 hwyla 10 years ago | You might see what grocery stores near you carry Uncle Ben’s ‘Instant Brown Rice’ or ‘Boil-in-Bag’ Brown Rice. Either one takes 10 minutes to make. And there’s nothing ‘added’ – just parboiled brown rice. Their website has a store locator. |
| CharlieSwanner 10 years ago | I sure wish there was a store close, but unfortunately there’s not. I plan to look around this weekend though, there’s got to be a better solution. I don’t have an hour just to cook rice. |
| hwyla 10 years ago | Do you live near a Trader Joe’s? They have frozen Brown Rice that microwaves in 3 minutes a pack. Yes, you pay for the convenience, but it is worth it.
Also, I did double-check with them after the news about arsenic in brown rice grown in the southern US. Their rice for this is from California. |
