Hip Replacement
![]() | Hi, swh6253. A few of our videos can give you some ideas: In addition, the ability to squat correctly without pain can be improved by doing the “wall squat” exercises below. Start with 10 of them three times per week. Stop at the point where you feel muscle pain, but continue to perform the exercise regularly, so that the non-painful range will increase as thigh and core muscles become stronger. Regarding water aerobics, which is considered the gold standard for exercising with arthritis, you can find some options at your local Parks and Rec Department, YMCA, and Natatorium. |
![]() | Anyone have a good exercise program for those of us who have had hip and/or knee surgery and need to take it easy in those areas? Also, I have access to a pool and would like to know of a good video that would give me and my swim buddy an aerobic program to follow. Thank you. |
