![]() | Hi, Calishine. Yes, you can repeat foods, no worries – whatever works for you 🙂 |
![]() | Hi everyone. How important is it to have a variety of foods? I dont really care for food and dislike the time it takes to cook and eat. I have had Chemo and my taste buds are off. If I make a snack and a meal that fit the proper combination can I then eat the same snack and the same meal over and over? |
![]() | Hi, ibeleeann, and welcome. Our menu plans provide a ratio of about 3 grams of carbohydrates to each gram of protein (and each gram of fat). Your breakfast sounds excellent, depending on the portion sizes of course, and exactly the type of thing we recommend – especially if the oats are whole rather than “quick” or “instant” and the egg and milk are omega-3-fortified or pastured (this is the ideal, not a deal-breaker). The portion sizes we would recommend for you would be 3/4 cup cooked oatmeal and 1 cup milk with the egg and fresh fruit. |
![]() | I just joined and just want to know what the ratio of carbs to protein is? For example, how if I have a cup of oatmeal is ok to have an egg and a cup of fresh fruit for breakfast? Is that the correct ratio? I feel really stupid. |
