Hi, annmdiana. About 4 ounces – it would replace 1 carb + 1 fat. If you select it in the Personal Menu Planner application, the system will fit it into your plan so you don’t have to. When you go out, you can either use the portion sizes presented in your Trim Down Meal with wine as a collective model, or use a wineless meal as an example, and have the wine instead of your night snack.

How many ounces of a red cabernet wine ? Does it have to replace something else on my meal plan?
If I go out for dinner, want to know how to maintain my meal plan but still have a glass of wine.
Thanks!

Hi, Lolew. Dry red wine is the “darling” of the nutrition world, but there’s a place for the rest in moderation. If you use the full Personal Menu Planner application, you will find alcohol among the items you can select for your menus – both wine and liquor.

I need guidance on what alcohol I can drink without ruining the diet? trying to make chances so I am generally healthier but want to keep it realistic. I enjoy lager, gin & tonic and red wine, which is the better of the evils? Thanks
