![]() | Hi, arh3455. Thanks for that. If you would like guidance on exercise, please do let us know. As for sugar substitutes, you can see here what we recommend – https://www.trimdownclub.com/the-best-way-to-sweeten-your-tea-2. |
![]() | I assume by dry weight you are referring to my weight the first thing in the morning before I get dressed, after I’ve gone emptied my bladder. That is how I always weigh myself. I’m very careful to stay away from salt as much as possible. I’ve also been using sugar substitutes and limiting carbs. I’ve been careful to use only whole grains for my bread. I try to stay away from processed foods. My activity is not as good as it should be, but I’m trying to work on that. |
![]() | Hi, arh3455. It’s good to read that your doctor is concerned about your nutrition. Hopefully he/she has also discussed the issue of sodium; this program encourages unprocessed foods, and supporting heart health is one of the reasons. |
![]() | My doctor wants me to cut my calorie intake to 1200 calories a day cAn you give me a menu building around that amount of calories. I’m having trouble figuring out the calorie count for different foods. So far I’m not losing and keeping it off. I lose one day and a few days later I seem to have put it back on .I have congestive heart failure so the doctor wants me keeping track of my weight everyday, because I tend to retain a lot of fluids. |
