Hi, GingerTwin. Rutabagas have notably more carbohydrates, about 50% more per given volume.

I noticed on the vegetable listing that the amount per serving are different for rhutabega versus turnip. These were traditional family foods when I was growing up, and we considered them interchangeable.
Can you tell me why one is half the amount of the other?
Thanks

Hi, fgraeme. It depends on the food. Liquids are 240 ml, but for solid foods, it is quite variable. See this list here: https://www.trimdownclub.com/exchanges-lists.

How much is a cup

Hi, bjkirsch. The standard is 1 cup raw and 1/2 cup cooked.

Is there an established serving size for veggies, both raw and cooked, or should I refer to the serving size on individual product packages?
