Now are we able to pull something off of another days menu if we don’t have on hand what was listed? For example it’s Monday and I am eating Monday’s menu but find I have Thursdays breakfast items on hand, is it ok to mix days/ menus for the week?

Hi, Loveudohfia. Many of the foods are similar to those in Nigeria – just substitute local legumes, nuts, grains, vegetables, fruits, and any animal products you may eat.

Hi, Sharon am just visiting in the USA presently in Boston but when I get back to Nigeria the menu becomes a challenge because most of the item are not available and those available are expensive because of importation charges. How do I substitute. Knowing right amounts as well?

Hi, dgharris. The menus produced by the Menu Planner application and Ready-to-Go menus have these, and you can use them as examples. Basically, we recommend combining high-fiber carbohydrates with proteins, good fats such as omega-3 and omega-9, and fruits or vegetables.

I’m looking for the right foods to combine to help lose weight.
