![]() | Hi, Claudia. If you have been on restrictive diets in the past, it may take your body a little while to get used to normal amounts of food. To give your metabolism a boost, see the suggestions I have to Gail below. |
![]() | I’m not doing so well either. After three days I’ve gained 4 pounds instead of losing any. |
![]() | Hi, Gail. Yes, we responded, but I will post here as well. Pilates is a great option, as it has many strata and so you can find your comfort level. Eventually it may strengthen you enough to add strength training. Note that as you work out, at this early stage you will be swapping out muscle for fat (muscle is heavier), so the number may not change at first, even as you may start looking and feeling better and your clothes fit differently – so go by those criteria for now. |
![]() | Did you give me an answer and I missed it. I am not doing so well. I haven`t lost much weight. Still going up and down on the chart. What is my problem. Watching salt intake and sugar now. |
![]() | I am following my diet. I exercise and I sometimes will switch out something on my list for just as healthy but not the same. Would this make a big difference. Going onto my fourth week and have not seen drastic or encouraging results. My doctor has suggested weights to my exercise. As I am older that causes me some distress. But will do pilates that adds just enough. I will try to see if this works for me. Just wondering what you can suggest. |
