Hi, Jamar1. What were your questions?

Hi Janmery,
Thanks for posting. Regarding the recipe icon not showing up, please provide us with the recipe and we will be happy to check it out.

For creating a menu plan, I suggest using the full Menu Planner (not the Ready to Go Menu). The beauty of the Menu Planner is that you are able to choose the foods you like and incorporate them into your weekly menu. If your menu doesn’t suit you, please feel free to make changes.

In order to make changes to specific foods in your menu plan, simply click on “Apps”, followed by “My Menus”. Then, select the menu you would like to edit by clicking on “View”.

Once your menu appears, click on the food you would like to replace, and a list will appear with alternative choices that you can choose from.

Additionally, to change an entire meal you can click on the white rotating arrows to the right of the meal.

If you would like to create a completely new menu, click on the “Apple” logo entitled “My Food Choices” to return to create a new menu by deselecting and selecting foods that you want. If you choose this method don’t forget to click the “Save and Create Menu” button afterwards.

Lastly, our newsletter contains lots of hints, menus, and other helpful information to supplement your Trim Down Club program. We have found that many of our members enjoy the information provided in them. Please don’t feel encouraged to watch if you feel that you can do without them.

I hope I was able to help. If you have any technical questions, please write to us through the Contact Us link at the bottom of the website. For nutritional questions, this is the best place to post!

Best:)

Hi cwturner,
We have looked into the search function and we see that is working ok for us. If you continue to have difficulties, please contact our support team through the Contact Us link at the bottom of the website.

I too am disappointed. If I have a question, I did not expect to have to spends hours searching for the community board to more than likely not find a thread. I thought I could email TDC directly for a response.

I, too am very disappointed in the club. It is very difficult to get a reply to my concerns. Instead I am referred to the community forum. In the menu they provided, I clicked on a recipe icon and nothing came up. Before I joined, I saw that a vegetarian diet was offered. Then I sent an email to them saying I was actually a pescetarian (vegetarian except eating some fish). I asked them to incorporate that into my program. No help so far, except referral to community. The first days menu was extremely disappointing. I guess my major disappointmeant is that no one is stepping up to help. I also just watched a video recommended today is email from TrimdownClub. I watched over 20 minutes of info re carb busting solutions and finally exited when, once again, the solution is to buy their proprietary blend of supplements. I am getting frustrated at having to go thru lengthy videos only tohave a sales pitch at the end.

I have to say that as a new subscriber, I too am disappointed and confused but then I too am British and large number of the menu items mean nothing to me. I am also very annoyed that if I try to find something using the search facility, if it is not recognised the whole menu is deleted and I have to start again.

I just signed up yesterday and I’m already disappointed. The video said that even though whole wheat was on the “no-no” list I wouldn’t have to give up my favorite foods but I’m not seeing some of my favorite foods on the food list either; muffins (American not English), homemade pancakes, homemade waffles (and what pray tell are “natural” frozen waffles and pancakes anyway). I realized that muffins typically are not considered healthy but I have found that if I make them from scratch I can improve on that significantly (I have even considered swapping out some of the wheat flour for oat flour to increase the health benefits), same with a lot of other products. I did find fruit scones on the list but I’m not sure if I can sub one of my fruit muffins instead especially since I have no idea what size scone they mean (the ones at the bakery are quite large). I would also like to have some control over what foods are picked beyond the “this is what I like” part. Can I pick oatmeal for breakfast and chicken and flatbread for lunch and then have the system fill in the rest? Figuring out what to have as a balanced snack is what was causing me the most issues with my diet before joining. I am also disappointed in the lack of recipes available. There seems to be a lot of grain products used but no recipes. Last summer I stopped using most of the commercially produced grain products due to the excessive amount of additives and preservatives they use, I prefer homemade but I’m not sure how my homemade stuff will fit in with the program since there is nothing to compare it to. Also, there really needs to be more information available for the food on the food list. I found myself asking “but what is it, is it something I want to eat”.
