Hi, lynda. Yes, it does normally take a little while. This is especially true if you have been on restrictive diets in the past, have been sedentary, or are perimenopausal. You can jump start the loss by adding physical activity to your routine, or if you have been active, by making changes to wake up new muscles. It doesn’t have to be anything strenuous, just something to increase your metabolic rate. Something as simple as walking in place in front of the TV for the length of a half-hour show is easy to slip into your day, and you can get other ideas from our video at the bottom of the page here – https://www.trimdownclub.com/sbs/standard-guide/week-1/?version=1.1.16.

I have been very diligently following this plan. I am on my third week and haven’t lost anything. Am I doing something wrong or does it normally take a little while.
