![]() | Ossiesharon, please help. I went to the trouble of duplicating my food choises with my husbands and then put in the menu he chose. The menu came out with the exact same portions as mine. That doesn’t make sencse as obviously, he’s bigger and taller and weighs more. I was told he would need 1/4 to 1/3 more than me. Why doesn’t the program allow for this? Thanks! |
![]() | To duplicate another menu from a family member, just go to a menu you have and click on the arrow for each meal and put in the items on their menu. |
![]() | Finally found out how to duplicate my husband’s menu on his computer to mine. It takes some time, but to copy the menu you just click on the arrow of each meal on a menu you already have and replace the items with the ones on the menu you are trying to duplicate. That way you each have your correct portions. It only took me a month to figure that out! |

![]() | Hi Ossie – I got a reply that my husband, based on his age,wt, etc. would need 1/4 to 1/3 more of the menu items than me. However, he was finally able to open his own account ( after we found out he had to have a different email than me) but many of the items on his menu call for the same amounts as on mine. That doesn’t make sense as he’s taller and weights more than me. Why doesn’t his menu give him the increased amounts? |

This program is based on the principles of nutrient for diabetics and heart disease patients – which is basically just a very healthy diet that supports weight loss and maintenance. The only potential difference would be which vegetables you eat, but even then if your husband eats the same amount of a vegetable high in vitamin K every day, the doctor can just adjust his warfarin. |

According to the measurements and situation you posted, your husband would need only a little more than you. To aid in his recovery, two extra helpings of lean dairy and two additional ounces of lean red meat would do the trick. |
