I have one more question, If I were to decide to use a recipe how do I work that into my menu. I seen the exchanges on the recipes such as fat, protein, carbs ect. does that mean I have to change those out from other meals on my menu for that day? I kind of don’t get it, sorry

Hi, linda21allen. Yes, the intention is for you to eat everything in the menu, but sometimes people find they do not. There may be a variety of reasons for this, and it is good to keep track of what goes in and why, so that positive changes can be made or the reason for stalled weight loss can be evaluated.

what is the purpose of keeping a journal if your suppose to follow the menu? I don’t mind doing it but isn’t everything were suppose to eat on the menu anyway?
