Hi, Lindalou. That looks like a great choice. Just be sure to keep track of the blue cheese dressing and don’t go over 2 tablespoons/30 ml.

Hi Linda: We are always going to have temptations (like eating out) but it sounds like you are using some good common sense and you can get right back on your “schedule” when you return. I too, had some challenges. By end of my second week (and I had lost 3 pounds!) I had EVERYONE it seems wanting to meet for lunch for we had some nice warm days. Well, I ate out 4 days in a row but I think I used restraint quite well; however, this morning I notice I had gained a pound – SO, back on the routine and planning on NO eating out this week. Good luck to you – my third week will end in a few days. I’ve been using the 8 week menus but I think next week (beginning of my 4th) I am going to mix it up a little. Still learning.

First week on the diet and I am facing challenges of eating out this week. Friday and Saturday I will be at a women’s convention where food is prepared for us.
Today I am going to meet a friend at a local restaurant. I looked up the menu on the web. I am going to get
6 dry rubbed chicken wings and house side salad that has mixed greens, feta cheese, and almond slices. Did I be making a right choice? Blue cheese dressing for wings and Balsamic Vinegar for salad. I have learned to dip my fork in dressing on side and then eat salad. Suprising hour much dressing is left 🙂
