Support 10 years ago | Hi portcitybroker, Welcome 🙂 If you are short on time, or work all day in the office, the best way to preserve a healthy diet with a packed schedule is to plan ahead. Here are a few tips to keep you eating a healthy nutritious diet during those long, tiring days. 1. Pack a healthy breakfast the night before, that way when you wake up, all you have to do is grab and go. Try to choose simple foods from two or more food groups to give you a balanced breakfast. Examples might include: whole wheat bread, pita, fresh fruit and vegetables, low fat cheeses and yogurts. 2. It is recommended to make a power-packed lunch and store it in a freezer- microwavable container ready for the week ahead. Some healthy options might include Whole Wheat Pasta Salad, or Brown rice and Vegetables, Grilled Chicken and Boiled Vegetables. 3. Stock up on nourishing, on-the-go foods like apples and oranges, snack-size low-fat yogurt, raw nuts, raisins and other dried fruit. To your health and success 😉 |
