![]() | Hi, Debra. Dim sum in general is challenging because it is based on refined rice flour, but the fried items are a double-whammy and therefore worth avoiding. About 4 medium (2-inch/5-cm) dumplings or 2 large (4-inch/10-cm) is generally considered to be a serving size – but if you are combining two meals per the “brunch” definition, something around 4-8 would probably be fine, with a side salad and soup. |
![]() | We’re going out for a Dim Sum brunch tomorrow? I’ll do my usual 3 mile walk first. Any suggestions on which dim sum to avoid, and what would the TDC suggest would be an appropriate for serving size? Thank you. |
