Hi, Jen, and thanks, Debbie! In addition to Debbie’s suggestions, you definitely can switch any of your foods around – as long as you have some protein with your fruit, you’ll be fine. V-8 is also fine, but try to get the low-sodium version.

I have the same issues with the veggies. especially the late night ones. However, I have found that if I have veggie soup, or carrot sweet potatoes soup or whatever soup you like it is much easier to have a cup of soup than to eat raw veggies or a salad. Also I love a spicy v-8 with Skinnypop popcorn and a string cheese in the afternoon. V-8 is high in sodium so if that is a issue for you just need to cut back somewhere else. We’d love to have you in our group Successful beginnings and Support. Blessings!

Hello, I have noticed the majority of the time my menu has my fruit placed at breakfast and my first snack of the day. Is it possible to switch the order of my snacks to have my fruit at my afternoon snack, or will this affect my blood sugar negatively? One other question, due to stomach issues, I struggle to digest a lot of vegitables so I have been using vegi juices like V8. Are these canned juices acceptable and do you have any other suggestions to help me get my vegis in everyday? I look forward to your response. Thanks!
