Hi, mrssvt44. As Deborah noted, snacks are important for your metabolism. However, if you’re not hungry for the snacks, then just eat half – but be sure that over the course of a day, you get at least 5 total servings of fruits+vegetables, and 3 total servings of calcium-rich foods. As for the scale, if you are working out, it may be that you are adding muscle. Muscle is heavier than fat, so you may be improving even if the scale isn’t moving. Instead of focusing on that, pay more attention to how you look and how your clothes are fitting. Please do keep us posted regarding your progress – I would be happy to continue trouble-shooting with you.

If you don’t eat the snacks you are not resetting your metabolism.

I have not loss any weight and I am becoming very discouraged. I am a post menopause 57 year old and I never had a problem with my weight. I am trying very hard but to no avail, the scale is not moving. Looking for some encouragement, suggestions, and any ideas that may make me a believer of the Trim Down Club. I eat three meals a day and drink plenty of water, not really hungry enough for snacks. I have serious back and neck issues from a fall in a store last month so my exercise is PT for 2 hours, 3 x a week, and I walk on my treadmill in between. PLEASE HELP ME
