Absolutely! Just make sure they are the same “class” of beans (i.e. starchy like chickpeas and kidney beans or non-starchy like green beans or wax beans).

I have noticed during this first week that beans are a big part of the program. I am getting used to this but I’m wondering if it is ok to substitute other kinds of beans from the list or eat the same kind for both meals as long as it is in the same portion?
