![]() | Reading these post were very helpful since I am new and many were the same questions and concerns that I have. Because of family illness I have not been able to read the material or follow the diet plan but I printed out the 14 day schedule and eat what is available. Also eating out a lot, I am careful about what I order and eat only half of it. I am loosing wt. but real slow. |
![]() | Hi, acummans. Absolutely. |
![]() | On week one or any time can you substitute items from different days? I can’t find persimons and I don’t care for sardines. |
![]() | Nicole, that sounds wonderful! |
![]() | I’ve been getting pretty creative with sauces. The possibilities are endless! My favorite so far (Very versatile) is plain greek yogurt mixed with a little lemon juice, lemon pepper, and fresh cilantro. |
![]() | Hi, jschillsr, and welcome! Easy does it – you don’t have to jump into anything unfamiliar. All we hope is that you can upgrade what you have been eating up to now. Herb sauce is just a generic term for fresh herbs in broth or a high-quality oil such as olive. Any herbs, spices, and similar plant-based seasonings are healthy in general, and can support your efforts here. |
![]() | new to the program and certainly new to eating this way. Most of the stuff I’ve barely heard of (still haven’t seen a live Persimmon)…. |
