Remember 1 tsp of zylitol counts as a carbohydrate. I was using 6-8 pkgs. a day when I first started as was losing very slowly. Then on the exchanges list I saw it counted 1-3 pkg. was the same as eating a piece of bread!!!! Yikes, no wonder I wasn’t losing!!

If you’ll join us in successful beginnings and support we’re on every day all day lone. Someone will get to your questions very promptly. I drink herbal tea, limited amounts of tea and coffee, but mostly water with lemon. I keep stevia in my purse and when we go out I order water with extra lemons and add Stevia and make my own little lemonade.

Hi, LGScarito. This is the right link to have your questions answered. If you contacted Customer Service, they are not dietitians, and can only help you with technical or product issues or refer you here to me.
This program encourages water (including sodawater or seltzer), of course, as well as green and white teas; coffee and coffee substitutes are great, too, especially if organic. If you don’t like plain water , you can infuse them with fruits and other plants (i.e. berries, mint, cucumber, and citrus) or just squeeze a fresh lemon or lime into it.
If you like to “juice,” please remember to do it yourself rather than buying juice in a store, and to count each half cup as a fruit. To get the benefits of the fiber, though, we suggest pureeing the fruit and adding water.
You can sweeten these with a natural sweetener such as monk fruit, Stevia, or xylitol.
Beyond that, you can of course drink milk and milky plant-based substitutes such as almond, rice, oat, etc. milks – each cup counts as a carbohydrate.
If you have any other nutrition questions, please do repost.

Hi, Peachymaw, and welcome. You can find the “Menu Planner” application in “Apps” above – you can build your own menu based on foods you like, and avoid those you don’t.

HI, I am brand new to the trim down club. In the 21 day start it list so many foods that i can’t eat. I was looking for a more personalized approach. Am I missing that link? I recently found out that the bad belly reactions I have to certain foods is a high intolerance. I can’t eat, tuna, cashews, corn or nightshade plants–tomatoes, white potatoes, All peppers, eggplant and goji berries. Any advice or was I mistaken in thinking this was the “one” source for me to get my life back. Thank you for providing advice.
