Hi, PeaceLover. Yes, the Menu Planner does indeed take your weight into consideration – so it is important to keep your weight updated so the amount of food can rightsize over time with your changing weight. It is a lot of food at the beginning to get your metabolism up, and to prevent hunger.

If I use the menu planner does that take my weight into consideration? It seemed like more food

Hi Peachlover24. You can create your own menus, using the 21-day planner as a pattern and the following exchange lists: https://www.trimdownclub.com/exchanges-lists.
However, at your personal current weight status, I would suggest to add about 1/4 to 1/3 more food to get your metabolism up. If you can exercise even a little, so much the better.

I just started and wondered if we need to follow the 21 menu planner(for 8 weeks) or if we can create our own menus.
