| | You are awesome AP20. Thank you so much! |
| | Fu is also called Seitan, it is wheat gluten. Wheat meat. Easily found in most asian markets. It is high in protein & easy to digest. It comes in a variety of shapes & colors & is dried. Before cooking you soak it in water until it returns to a spongy-state. Very popular in Japanese culture or dishes. |
| | Eewww! Lol. No, the PDF file says fu. I’m pretty ssure it’s that fruit persimmons. |
| | fu is the stuff between your toes….JUST KIDDING. Maybe your printer messed up. |
| | Thank you for your help. I just joined and am trying to figure things out. ^_^ |
| | I wonder if they mean persimmons because I see that in the menu that corresponds to this grocery list and do not see “fu” at all. I would have thought of them as a fruit or veggie. Not grain. |
| | Maybe short for Tofu????? I really have no idea, just reading things in the menu to see what pops out at me. |
| | Soybeans, Fermented, Fuyu – I see this under Legumes…. |
| | Just “Fu” with the check off box in front of it. It was under the grain category. |
| | Was it by itself or in front of something? |
| | “fu” appeas on my grocery list uner the category of grains. no one at earth fare or whole foods had any idea what it was. Also they did not know what Fuyu was unless I was talking about persimmons. |
