Lipton’s tends to contain hydrogenated fats and monosodium glutamate, which can work against your goals here. Healthier alternatives include Fantastic Foods, Health Valley, GoBio!, and Canterbury Naturals. Even if you don’t use these particular brands, perhaps just take a look at the ingredients lists to give an idea of what we recommend – all-natural, non-hydrogenated, non-GMO, etc. |

Cut veggies in small to medium pieces. Cover with water. Boil fast for 10 minutes. Reduce to simmer and continue to cook until vegetables are tender. |
