Hi, LeanDave. The “blood type diet” is something that is based on part of a much bigger concept known as “nutrigenomics” and related a little to “epigenetics” – basically the influence your genetics on nutrition, and the impact of nutrition on genetics. You can read our article on the subject here https://www.trimdownclub.com/having-good-genes-is-no-myth-but-even-with-bad-ones-good-nutrition-helps-2/.

Our diet program does not yet incorporate profiling to assess the best fit for individual users here, but if you get such a profile (through a healthcare professional and reputable company such as Nutrigenomix), you can choose the fitting foods through the Menu Planner application, and so tailor-make your plan according to a concept even larger than the blood type diet.

On a more generic level, this program encourages foods that are best suited to the most challenging genetics types, with predisposition to diabetes, high cholesterol problems, hypertension, overweight, etc.

I have been following the “Eat for your Blood Type” Diet for about a year now with good results.

How does TDC work with the restrictions of food types according to blood types ?
