Thanks for your comments Ossie-Sharon and sa957. My intuition told me it might not be good, but nice to know.

A 100% natural honey I use at times for a sweetener.

Hi, Judysan. We don’t generally recommend concentrated fruit-based sweeteners because they tend to be high in fructose – concentrated fructose can really work against your goals here. We recommend the following:
Non-caloric: Stevia, monk fruit (less of an aftertaste than Stevia)
Fewer calories: xylitol
Caloric, but low glycemic index: coconut sugar or nectar.

Hello-I’m wondering if it would be good or not to use Concentrated Fruit Juice sweetener (like Wax Orchards Brand)? It contains: pear juice concentrate and pineapple syrup. It also says it is diabetic friendly and gluten-free (neither of which I am). Thanks. Love the program!
