Hi, lfcevans. Dark chocolate is fine – just count it in your plan as a swap for a fatty item – the amount you eat is so little, and dark chocolate does have its benefits.
Large amounts of honey are not recommended, as it can work against your efforts here, but a little here and there for flavor is fine.

Hello everyone.
I have just subscribed and would like some help.
I am on a get fit campaign at the moment.
I have cut out wheat alltogether (before I subscribed to trimdown club)
I do not eat biscuits anymore (I used to eat 3-4 packs of choc hobnobs a week)
I have also started on the `you are your own gym` exersize programme
And…stopped smoking. I still use one of those electronic cigs though.

I have taken to eating 25grms of dark choc (85% cocoa) instead of the biscuits after my tea. Can someone tell me if this is ok, or are there lots of sugars involved.

Also, is it ok to add a drop or two of honey as a sweetener to my porridge in the morning and to some stewed rhubarb as a desert when I make it. I was thinking a natural product and not refined sugar.

anyway best of luck to everyone
