![]() | Hello, I know all about packing on the pounds in the winter months. For me it was because I was just to bored and used food to comfort me. I would find myself eating even when I wasn’t hungry. It was pretty bad. The only thing that works for me is keeping myself busy with activities and setting a time to eat certain foods because I don’t always make the best choices in food selections. |
![]() | Hi, cal1959. I can assure you that whole grains are no higher in calories than regular grains, and the effect of the calories is actually “buffered” by the extra fiber. Overall, this program tends to be low-carb, up to 45% of energy (compared to a typical diet, which is 50-65%). |
![]() | Hi I’m a long time member of Weight Watchers and have had much success on the program although I have a tendency to gain back the weight over the winter months. WW is all about calories and yet Trim Down is all about whole grains which can be high in calories. I don’t want to start this diet and find the scale creeping upward. Can someone make sense out of this for me please. |
