Yes, that is the advantage of the Menu Planner application, that you can just stay away from items on the list of high vitamin K foods provided to you where you receive medical care and follow-up. Your suggested substitutions are just fine. In addition to green leafy vegetables, look out for curries and peppers as well as prunes. |
![]() | I have been working on my menu planner and so many of the recipes while sounding wonderfully tasty, contain ingredients that I have to stay away from due to High Vitamin K content. Items such as Green Leafy Vegetable and Brocolli. Can you suggest substitutes or would it be okay to perhaps substitute things I can have like cucumber, tomatoes or green peppers etc.? |
