![]() | Hi, Suemary. Xylitol is an excellent sweetener – no aftertaste or carbohydrates, and yes, there are health benefits. Honey is not recommended because it is mostly fructose, which can work against your efforts here and has been linked to liver problems. A better choice is coconut sugar, which tastes like brown sugar and is higher in minerals. |
![]() | Waiting for a response as to whether I can use honey or xylitol as a sweetener. I realse sugar is a no no as are artificial sweeteners, but honey is presumably a natural product and xylitol seems to have some health benefits ? |
