  1. 1 cup / 240 ml freshly squeezed orange juice
  2. ½ cup / 65 gm shredded carrots
  3. ¼ cup / 60 ml coconut water or low-fat coconut milk*
  4. 2-3 ice cubes
  5. ¼ tsp. / ⅛ gm ground cinnamon (optional)


  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and mix for 1 minute.
  2. Sprinkle cinnamon on top, if desired.

Serving size: 1 cup

  1. I’ve had this shake twice and it’s fantastic. Once as a shake and the second as a smoothie. For the smoothie I used a whole orange, added fresh spinach and ice. It was great and my family loved it also.

  2. Wow,this sounds great! I’ve been preparing this with just the carrots and oranges and at times I’ve added celery but I use a juice extractor .I’m definitely going to try it with coconut water or milk!
