Does fruit count as carbs if I snack on it when trying to lose weight?

Asked 4 months ago

I've had diabetes for a few months and must constantly monitor my carbohydrate intake. I want to adapt my eating habits. To kick-start my weight loss, a friend suggested I try meal planning. I like dried fruit snacks in small amounts and am wondering if I should count them as separate carbs as well.

Meal planning is a good approach to weight loss, and taking fruits as snacks is a healthier choice. Instead of standing as separate carbs, research suggests that there is a direct relationship between fruit intake and weight loss, so the more fruits you take in, the more likely you are to lose weight
