Can regular exercise help with boosting my creativity?

I’m a 47 year old mom of two and I find it hard to sometimes be creative for my kids. I know I’m not the most creative person but I was wondering if exercising could be something that would help increase my creative levels even if it’s by a little bit! I need all the help I can get.

Absolutely. Exercise increases blood flow to the brain which improves cognitive function, including divergent thinking, creativity, memory, attention, and perception. In the short-term, moderate-intensity exercise can improve your ability to generate creative ideas for a subsequent task. In the long term, it will lead to overall creativity.
